Rick Wong is the director of the Chinese Martial Arts Center. He has studied wushu for more than 30 years in both the United States and China, and has been a gold medalist at numerous national and international prestigious Chinese competitions, for which he now serves as a judge.

      Wong has taught martial arts extensively throughout the Boston area for many years, including Boston University and Harvard University. He continues to serve as technical advisor for the Harvard Wushu Club
     Wong is a senior physical therapist at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, and has lectured on therapeutic uses of tai chi at Children's Hospital in Boston and at other community venues. 
     A top student of
Master Bow Sim Mark, Wong is fluent in both internal and external styles of wushu.
In addition, he has trained contemporary wushu with
Sifu Nick Gracenin, traditional shaolin and shuai chiao with
Sifu Peter Chema, and
Oyama karate with
Sensei Ed Frazier.
